Virus hallyu or Korean pop wave seems to have plagued many countries in the world, including countries in Latin America. One proof is the convening Contest K-Pop Latin America some time ago. The event was followed by a number of pop singers from a number of countries, including Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile.
